Es ist einfach nichts zu tun, denkt man sich.
Zugegeben. Diese Woche war das Wetter fantastisch, da fällt es einem leicht im Liegestuhl zu sitzen und die Ameisen in übernotwendiger Anzahl über die Füße krabbeln zu lassen. Und zugegeben: Mein Körper hat krankheitsorientiert gehandelt und so direkt dafür gesorgt, dass ich einen Gang zurückschalte. Und zugegeben: Wer von Lego-Ninjas angegriffen wird, nachdem er von Rittern bedroht wurde und nachdem Meister Yoda sich im Schuh verstecken musste, um nicht in die Naschi-Falle der Playmos zu laufen, ja, der hat es schon leichter, sich mit anderen Dingen als der Arbeit zu beschäftigen.
But…
Dennoch: Man muss sich darauf einlassen, und ich habe mich darauf eingelassen. And after one week of making every f***ing mistake I can, I can proudly summarize: I am still alive. And what’s even better: I got offered a presentation at a business Lunch and for economics student. I made new contacts and mailed a couple of reference-letters, I helped a friend to get her CV pimped, my mind makes less trouble (although I wake up around 5ish…but that gives my the chance to watch the sun rising. Nothing more beautiful than light blue-light red sky, when everyone else is still asleep. So peaceful!), I did everything I had on my plan for this week, I got first ideas for some articles I will write in the next weeks, my new homepage is nearly finished, I even met some of my friends. Whoa! Not bad, huh? Not bad.
Celebrating is the best part of making mistakes!
So considering that everything I made was a mistake and reminding myself of my plan to love every mistake I make, I will now turn on the music and celebrate my „bad“ week! You cannot see me, but believe me, I am dramatically freakdancing right now! And as if they have read my thoughts (or my blog), one of my favourite magazines brandeins published an article about „Müßiggang“ and about how people think it’s not work when you sit around and think, about your new article, the new layout, the new world order and the necessity of this „do nothing“.
